Dandelions!
Yup, those pesky little things that pop up all over your yard are actually edible!
Edible parts:
Leaves: Pretty much everything in a dandelion is bitter, and that does include the leaves. However, if you don't mind the taste you can add them to salads.
Milk from stem: The milk from dandelion's stem is hard to collect in quantities large enough to actually add to anything, but it is extremely healthy.
Petals: Petals make a good topping for a salad.
Taproot: If you can manage to get the dandelion's taproot (or main root, if you prefer) you can cook it like a potato or chop it up and put it in a salad.
